Happy Holidays to all my crocheting friends out there.
Well, tomorrow is the big turkey day and counting our blessings is the number one to do thing on the list. Can you buy that turkey? Have family to join you around the table. Count your blessings I know I do. I did not have to buy a turkey this year. The younger generation tells us they are taking care of everything. Is that not such a blessing. Unless grandparents are drafted into watching little ones while parents give there all in the kitchen, there will be more crochet time for me. Another blessing. I will be that much further along on making Christmas gifts. Way cool.
Well dear crochet friends, I wish for you and yours a Blessed holiday filled with peace and harmony. I hope you get filled to capacity on wonderful food, family and holiday cheer; and of course to fill your crochet time with best wishes and lovely fibers for all your loved ones.
It's not yet mid October and the weater is already turning bitter. The leaves are turning beautiful shades of red and yellows and browns. Soon they will fall from the trees and we will be looking for warm cuddly fibers to make fabulous things to keep our familys warm.
I am making a muff for my Granddaughter. An old time creation I know but I loved mine when I was a little girl and want to share that experience with her. I am creating the pattern as I go. Perhaps I will share it with you all when it is done. Have a happy October and watch out for the goblins at the end of the month.
Happy Crocheting
